In a restored historic building on the newly resurgent Race Street, Ed Gray’s iconoclastic shop, Bruges Home (so named because he was inspired by the way Belgians incorporate nature into their homes), presents a deft mix of objects from different eras and cultures. Gray’s ever-changing assortments include many custom and one-of-a-kind pieces as well as plush upholstery from Verellen; finely modeled tables, armoires and mirrors from Oly; and alluring tableware and accessories from the likes of Gervasoni, Michael Aram and Tord Boontje (323A Race St.; 215/922-6041, brugeshome.com).
